The Uncomfortable challenge

Started in 2023 by Blake Bourne, The Uncomfortable Challenge inspires people to step out of their comfort zones and take control of their mental health. Over the last 3 years we have raised over $60,000 for mental health iniatives across Australia, providing the tools and resources to those in need.

OUR GOAL FOR 2026

This year, our goal is to get 1,000 people involved—because the bigger the reach, the greater the impact. Together, we can spark meaningful conversations, raise awareness, and drive real change around mental health.

WHERE donations go

All proceeds from donations and fundraising for The Uncomfortable Challenge go directly to Speak & Share to support those in need.

Speak & Share is a not-for-profit mental health charity that encourages open, honest conversations and challenges the stigma surrounding mental health.

Through a proactive, preventative approach, they deliver programs in schools, workplaces, and sporting clubs, as well as host local events to connect communities and offer practical methods for how to care for one's own mental well-being.
