Why I’m Doing This — Emily, BFT Traralgon
As a manager at BFT Traralgon, I see every day how much strength is built inside the gym — and how much of that strength goes beyond just physical.
Mental health matters.
And sometimes, it’s the hardest reps we can’t see.
That’s why I’m taking on The Uncomfortable Challenge this July — to raise awareness, start real conversations, and support Speak & Share, an amazing organisation delivering mental health education where it’s needed most.
This challenge hits home.
Because in our town, like so many others, too many people are struggling silently.
And if doing something uncomfortable helps even one person feel seen, supported, or inspired to speak up — it’s worth it.
I’m proud to lead a team that believes in more than just fitness.
We believe in community.
We believe in showing up when it matters.
And we believe that Gippsland can make a real difference.
If you’re part of this town — jump in.
